Product Introduction and Uses

The YF5132A CNC Gear Shaping Machine is designed for combined roughing and finishing of internal/external spur gears, duplex gears, multi-stage gears, and part keyways. As a well-established product of our company, it is widely used for machining various disc gears and shaft gears. It is particularly suitable for mass production in industries such as construction machinery, mining equipment, automotive, tractor, and aerospace manufacturing, while also supporting single-piece or small-batch production.

The machine features a rational overall layout, reliable performance, and easy operation and maintenance, making it suitable for integration into automatic production lines. Its main components include the base bed, left and right columns, longitudinal carriage, built-in rotary worktable, gearbox, tool post, indexing headstock ram, and rotary head.

All machine axes are directly controlled by independent AC servo motors, offering short transmission chains, high rigidity, and high precision. The entire machine adopts AC servo drives and CNC control. The tool can automatically start and stop; automatic cycles are available for both internal and external gear machining, and automatic speed changes are realized between roughing and finishing, resulting in more reasonable cutting parameters, improved accuracy, surface finish, and productivity. The machine allows one-time clamping of parts, with automatic part transfer from left to right, completing the combined gear shaping and keyway cutting operations automatically.

The machine achieves radial feed and rapid retraction via carriage (worktable) movement, with symmetrically fixed left and right columns. The gear shaping column is equipped with a tool post assembly, which includes a gearbox. The stroke speed of the tool spindle is controlled by a servo spindle motor driving the gearbox via a timing belt, enabling infinitely variable speed. The stroke length is adjusted by changing the eccentricity of the crank disc, and the tool position is fine-tuned via the threaded ball pull rod. Both the tool spindle (C-axis) and worktable (B-axis) are driven by AC servo motors. Feed rate, cycle count, and cutting depth can be arbitrarily set during machining, with automatic speed change when switching between roughing and finishing. The tool post is oscillated by a cam and roller mechanism to realize radial relief during internal/external gear cutting.

A rotary head is mounted on the keyway cutting column, housing a ram and crank-slider mechanism. A servo motor drives the crank via two-stage pulley reduction, reciprocating the ram vertically. The ram is fitted with a cutting tool and a fine-adjustment device for easy alignment during keyway cutting.

With a rational structure, short transmission chains, high rigidity, and reliable precision, the machine is fully functional and highly adaptable, making it the ideal equipment for machining gears and keyways in various materials.

Features

Major basic components including the base bed, columns and worktable are made of HT300 cast iron. The base and columns adopt box-type structure. The compact and well-designed symmetric rib structure ensures high rigidity, excellent bending resistance and vibration damping performance of the basic parts, which guarantees stable long-term operation of the machine.

The AC servo motor for left-right feed of the carriage worktable is directly coupled with precision ball screw pairs for transmission. This design lowers noise and ensures high positioning accuracy. High-precision worm gear and worm drives are applied for the rotary worktable and tool spindle, delivering high indexing accuracy and smooth operation. The servo spindle motor drives the vertical reciprocating motion of the tool spindle or ram via timing belts and crank discs for high machining efficiency.

A reliable centralized automatic lubrication system is equipped to provide timed and quantitative intermittent lubrication for all lubrication points. The lubrication interval can be adjusted according to operating conditions. The machine is fully guarded. The independently designed operation panel can rotate freely for easy operation.

The machine features a left-right symmetric layout. The gear shaping column and keyway cutting column are fixed respectively at the left and right ends of the base. It adopts a unique box-in-box bed structure with vertically separated columns. The accuracy of the two axes will not interfere with each other, helping further improve machining precision.

Workpieces can be machined with one-time clamping. The machine realizes automatic workpiece transfer from left to right and completes combined gear shaping and keyway cutting automatically. It is controlled by a dual-channel CNC system. Spindle servo motors are installed on the left and right sides respectively and transmit power via timing belts. A combined forced lubrication and automatic lubrication system is adopted for convenient adjustment. The automatic chip conveyor is installed at the center of the machine to serve both sides, ensuring smooth and eco-friendly chip removal.
