CNC 450 EDM Drill Machine Product Introduction :

Processing principle
Using electrode tubes (brass tubes, purple copper tubes) as processing electrodes, utilizing the principle of electric discharge erosion, a high-frequency pulse power supply is applied between the electrode (hollow copper tube) and the workpiece to form a small pulse width and high peak current discharge machining, supplemented by a high-pressure water pump for cooling and slag removal, greatly accelerating the erosion speed of the workpiece.

Applicable scope
1. Suitable for machining deep small holes with diameters ranging from 0.15mm-3mm on various conductive materials such as stainless steel, quenched steel, copper, aluminum, and hard alloys. It can directly penetrate and process irregular shaped surfaces such as slopes and surfaces.
2. It is mainly used for the processing of small holes on the mold, as well as the threading holes, the spinneret holes of the chemical fiber spinneret and spinneret, the group holes of the filter plate and sieve plate, the cooling holes of the discharge motor blade and the cylinder body, the oil and gas path holes of the hydraulic pneumatic valve body, etc; It can also be used to remove drill bits and taps that are broken in the workpiece without damaging the original hole or thread.
3. Use purified water or tap water as the processing coolant.

Features and functions
1. The machining hole information input by the user is saved in the system’s storage medium in the form of a file for multiple users to avoid frequent input after turning off the power. And it can save multiple machining hole information, and can edit and save the original machining again.
2. In the unprocessed state, the machining trajectory line can be displayed in the hole position schematic area to simulate the machining sequence.
3. During the multi hole machining process, it is possible to forcibly exit the current hole machining and proceed to the next hole for machining.
4. During the machining process, if you need to replace the electrode, simply click the 【 Replace Electrode 】 button. The Z-axis of the system will automatically rise to a certain position. After manually replacing the electrode, click this button again to restore the machining status, which is convenient and efficient.
5. For machining multiple holes, the CNC system can add hole information in two ways: (1) Add hole information one by one, suitable for adding scattered and irregularly distributed holes. (2). Formula adding hole information is suitable for hole information with certain distribution rules. The hole information can be changed, added, or deleted at any time according to the machining needs, and the machining order of the holes can be adjusted.
