1.Tool setting operation
Install the selected tool on the spindle of the CNC milling machine and perform tool setting operation. The purpose of tool setting is to determine the position of the tool in the machine tool coordinate system so as to accurately control the movement and cutting of the tool. Tool setting is usually performed using a tool setting instrument or trial cutting method.
2.Program debugging
Before formal processing, program debugging is performed first. Check the correctness and rationality of the program by simulating processing or running the program dry. Observe whether the tool’s motion trajectory meets expectations and whether there are interference and other problems. If there are any problems, make adjustments and modifications in time.
3.Cutting processing
After the program is debugged correctly, start the CNC milling machine for cutting processing. During the processing, pay close attention to the operating status of the machine tool, such as cutting force, temperature, vibration, etc. Adjust the cutting parameters in time according to the actual situation to ensure processing quality and efficiency. At the same time, pay attention to the wear of the tool and replace the tool with severe wear in time.
4.Quality inspection
During the processing or after the processing is completed, the workpiece should be inspected for quality. Use measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, three-coordinate measuring machines, etc.) to measure the size, shape, position accuracy, etc. of the workpiece. If quality problems are found, analyze the causes in a timely manner and take appropriate measures to make adjustments.
