The preparatory meeting of the Association’s Laser Processing and Additive Manufacturing Equipment Branch was held in Beijing

The preparatory meeting of the Laser Processing and Additive Manufacturing Equipment Branch of the China Machine Tool Industry Association was held in Beijing on October 18. Chairman Mao Yufeng, Vice Chairman Wang Liming, Vice Chairman Wang Xu, and Deputy Secretary-General Mu Donghui of the association’s permanent institutions attended the meeting. Heads of 15 units including Wuhan Huagong Laser Engineering Co., Ltd., Han’s Laser Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Hongshi Laser Technology Co., Ltd., Jinan Bond Laser Co., Ltd., Pentium Laser (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Wuhan Ruike Fiber Laser Technology Co., Ltd., Xi’an Zhongke Micro-precision Photonics Technology Co., Ltd., Nanjing Zhongke Yuchen Laser Technology Co., Ltd., Xi’an Polylite Additive Technology Co., Ltd., Ruitie Machine Tool (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yuandian Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Muji Technology Co., Ltd., Ningbo Haitian Additive Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Bochu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Weihong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and representatives of relevant departments of the association attended the meeting. Chairman Mao Yufeng presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Wang Liming explained the necessity of preparing for the establishment of the branch and the direction of the branch’s work. Vice President Wang Xu introduced the development of the machine tool industry, the organizational structure of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, and the functions and main business of the association. Deputy Secretary-General Mu Donghui introduced the government’s support policies for the industrial mother machine industry, the group standards, product identification, and advanced member selection carried out by the association. Representatives of participating companies introduced the business and development of their respective companies, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the structure, business development, and overseas market development of the Laser Processing and Additive Manufacturing Equipment Branch. They affirmed the necessity and importance of the establishment of the branch, as well as the important role of the branch in industry self-discipline and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the industry. The representatives also made suggestions for the future construction of the branch based on the actual needs of the enterprises. President Mao Yufeng summarized the meeting. In order to speed up the follow-up work, according to the proposal of President Mao Yufeng, the meeting passed and established the Preparatory Leading Group and Working Group of the Laser Processing and Additive Manufacturing Equipment Branch of the China Machine Tool Industry Association. After the meeting, some representatives visited the pilot base of Beijing Jingdiao Technology Group Co., Ltd. and conducted technical exchanges with relevant personnel of Beijing Jingdiao Company.
