The client’s main business is processing stainless steel pipe components, and the CNC mandrel bending machine they purchased is primarily for processing stainless steel round pipes with a specification of 42.4×3.2mm. 2. Bending Radius Coverage: Stable processing of four bending radii: 150mm, 250mm, 330mm, and 500mm, accommodating both small-radius forming and large-radius pipe production.
3. Multi-Station Layout: A three-station design is adopted, with a low-position R250 bending station, a middle-position R150 bending station, and a reserved high-position roll bending station for future optional roll bending functionality, meeting customers’ multi-process processing needs.
4. Precision and Efficiency: The bending angle accuracy must meet the industry’s high-end standard of ±0.05°, while also being compatible with automated feeding and rapid prototyping to ensure stable mass production.

Combined with a mandrel guide structure, it effectively avoids problems such as wrinkles and out-of-tolerance ovality during the bending of stainless steel pipes. Bending angle accuracy is ±0.05°, and feeding accuracy is ±0.05mm, ensuring consistency of pipe fittings in mass production and meeting the stringent precision requirements of Austrian customers.
3. Balancing automation and scalability to adapt to future production scenarios: The equipment adopts a CNC numerical control system for coordinated control of pipe bending, feeding, and pipe rotation, enabling multi-stage bending processes for complex pipe fittings. The feeding servo motor, coupled with an adjustable speed of 450-750mm/sec, balances efficiency and accuracy. Furthermore, a roll bending station interface is reserved, allowing customers to upgrade their processes without replacing the equipment when expanding their product categories, thus reducing long-term procurement costs.
