Brief Introduction
Cylindrical grinder is a grinder for machining the outer surface and shaft shoulder end face formed by cylindrical, conical or other shape prime lines of workpiece.
It is generally composed of the cast iron bed of the basic part, the workbench, the head frame and tailstock supporting and driving the rotation of the workpiece, the grinding wheel frame (grinding head) for installing the grinding wheel, the transverse feed mechanism for controlling the size of the grinding workpiece, and the electrical and hydraulic devices for controlling the action of the moving parts of the machine tool.
Most grinding machines use high-speed rotating grinding wheel for grinding, and a few use oilstone, abrasive belt and other free abrasives for grinding, such as honing mill, superfinishing machine tool, abrasive belt grinder, grinder polishing machine, etc.
