This month, a Malaysian customer of Shanghai ANTISHICNC Company once again customized an EDM multi-axis Drilling machine to process orifice plate discs. The size of the flying disc is about 303mm in diameter, 6.5mm in thickness, and 0.62KG in weight. It needs to process the square hole of 0.6mm and the inclined hole of 0.4mm in the drawing. After technical research and discussion by Shanghai ANTISHICNC engineers, we finally customized the SK703 EDM multi-axis Drilling machine for the customer. This CNC Drilling Machine can directly penetrate the inclined surface and curved surface without being restricted by the hardness and toughness of the material. And the equipment has realized 5-axis linkage. In addition to processing ordinary conductive materials, it can also smoothly process stainless steel, cemented carbide, hardened steel, high temperature heat-resistant alloy, copper alloy, titanium alloy and other difficult-to-process conductive materials. In order to improve the positioning accuracy and reliability of the machine tool, the X, Y, and Z axes of the machine tool are driven by Panasonic AC servo motors, and are driven by Taiwan linear guides and Taiwan ball screws; the motion axis and b axis are driven by Panasonic AC servo motors through a CNC rotary table, and the motion axis W is driven by a Panasonic AC servo motor and controlled by rolling guides and ball screws.

The SK703 EDM Drilling machine is equipped with a water conductivity automatic control working fluid system, which can automatically detect and process water conductivity. And with three-stage filtration, the high-pressure working fluid uses a gas-liquid booster pump, the working fluid tank is made of stainless steel plate. This system can achieve flushing during the processing, cooling of the processing area and chip removal.
