Precision Unveiled with Surface Grinding Machines

The main parameters of the rectangular worktable surface grinder are the width and length of the worktable, and the main parameters of the circular table surface grinder are the diameter of the worktable surface. 1 Positioning rules for surface grinders: Where should the machine be placed and how should it be installed? It is understood that more than 300mm should be reserved outside the maximum movement space, each foot screw should be tight, and the front and back and left and right levels of the table should be within 0.04/1000mm. 2 Selection of grinding wheels for surface grindering machines: The selected grinding wheel must be able to withstand a peripheral speed of more than 2000m/min, because if the speed is too low, it will easily leave marks, but if the speed is too high, the price of the grinding wheel will be much higher. In addition, it is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that it is strictly forbidden to use damaged grinding wheels. If conditions permit, the flange must be balanced after the new grinding wheel is installed.

3 Spindle of surface grindering machines: Make sure that the spindle rotates clockwise before installation.

4 Hydraulic device of surface grindering machines: The surface grinder uses hydraulic oil with a viscosity of No. 46.  The hydraulic oil of the new machine needs to be replaced after three months of use, and once a year thereafter, and the oil tank must be cleaned at the same time.

5 Surface grindering machines lubrication device: Use guide rail lubricant with a viscosity of 32. (Recommended Meiweida No. 1 or No. 1405), confirm the oil level in the oil tank (pool) every day to ensure that it is above the lower line. Check whether the guide rail oil circuit is unobstructed every week to prevent the guide rail from losing oil. It is recommended to clean the oil tank once every three months. Grease should be added regularly as required.

6 Left and right mechanisms of surface grindering machines: It is forbidden to adjust the left and right strokes when the workbench is moving. When the workbench cable is loose, it should be adjusted immediately.

7 Surface grinder flushing and dust collection device: Cleaning and maintenance of the dust collection box filter, clean it once every two weeks. Another thing is the inspection of the coolant. Generally, when the coolant is contaminated, it should be checked and removed in time.
